Our brand values

The core Widex values – originality, reliability and perseverance - are our internal guide to how we reach our goal of ‘clarity delivered’.
These values are unspoken but underlie all we do. For example, being a family-owned company gives us the freedom to think different and be original, our hearing aids are known for their quality and reliability, and if we are not satisfied with one solution we try again until we find the right one.

Since its inception, Widex has been committed to three core values that continue to inform our decisions and inspire our work:


Widex has never followed the beaten path. We have our own audiological identity, and always aim for the best audiological solutions for people with hearing loss. Our originality also comes to expression through our flat organisational structure, which facilitates interdisciplinary work and the production of innovative solutions. 


Through professionalism and broad interdisciplinary expertise, Widex has created a solid foundation for co-operation with teacher training colleges, research institutes and independent experts from all over the world. When we get hold of a good idea, we nurture it and work hard to realise it.


For Widex, reliability means thorough quality control of each individual hearing aid, as well as a good partnership with our world-wide network of subsidiaries and distributors. Reliability also means ensuring that our hearing aid users are provided with comprehensive and reliable information.
